Sounds good. I’ll give it a shot

Are your engines closed or open cooling. Closed cooling should run at 160 degrees and open cooling should run at 140 degrees.

That's how they come from factory because they assume use in salt water but it really depends on the application. I prefer the hotter stat running in fresh water in an open/raw water cooled engine.

Found the problem! I have contaminated fuel in my starboard tank. I ran both engines off the port tank, everything ran perfect! Now I have to get the tank pumped and cleaned.

So if the engine runs and you can't get rpm's, it might be starving for fuel. Not sure what engines you've got but I'd check the fuel filters. There's a difference between an unloaded engine, in neutral and loaded engine, in gear. I ran into an issue earlier this year, left the dock my port engine had all the power I needed, an hour and a half later coming back in bumpy seas all it would do is 1,500 rpm and it slowly dropped the closer we got to port. I picked up some junk from the fuel tank and it plugged the primary fuel filter. I've got 454 Crusaders and there's a pancake looking filter, 8 micron, that can be taken apart and cleaned.
