you will really see that you don't use as much water as you think if you will install the guage you said you have. We use our boat alot and the 70 gallons i have lasts quite a while. Yours 70 should also unless your running water like your at home. I.e running water constantly when brushing teeth, taking long showers instead of conservation like getting wet, turn off water, soap up turn on rinse etc , filling up galley sinks etc for dishes. Your boat and my aft cabin model really don't need any additional weight in the aft. I'm just saying try what you got 1st before adding more weight/gallons.

Tony, does your 390 have the same 120 gallon aft tank that the 355 has? If so do you use yours? If its there and you don't use it due to leakage or what ever, maybe you could utilize that space for a bigger water tank?
If you don't use the aft tank, and don't want to mess with it, I wouldn't be afraid of a larger tank under the berth. I fill my aft fuel tank at least once a year and it really doesn't make that much of a difference in the way the boat sits in the water. The boat does throw one hellish wake with all tanks full at cruise speed though.

I have considered that. The wateR tank is just off center. The tanks never go that low and i draw equally from port and starboard. I have no list as we speak.
