The good thing is that it is not too high. So you won't see a dirty trace of bilge water.

Mine may have had to ditch too dirty and too much but the stains are a bad reminder and not always easy to rinse off.

They make some cool through-hulls that have a little 'drip edge' cast into them so the water doesn't run down the hull to fix that kind of problem

hmm I can make that 'nose' from a piece of plastic bottle. Doesn't need much length sticking out.
