I have been thinking about this situation you have there. Something about it bothers me as to the way power was switching sides........doesn't seem right. Maybe have a marine certified electrician have a look at those connections there.
You should have galvanic isolators for each circuit to handle the ground side.....are they still there ? Does it look like someone has been in there before you ?

It looks truly original with all the wire ties (yellowed with age) intact. Looks truly original

Tony there are two reasons actually......one was the power issue and the other, in the pic it looks like and tell me if I am wrong that there is a green wire connecting to the neutral bus.
That particular thing is concerning in my mind, if it were me I would have it checked further to find out why.
Do you still have the original galvanic isolators connected ?

I have the original galvanic isolators. I am going to take a closer look at that green wire. I truthfully am not sure.

I dont think that is a diode, i have them on my 350 mariner and took it off to read the numbers. I think it's a thermal fuse between the breakers. I was checking mine because my ac ammeters aren't working and i thought that was the diode.

Ahhh. Perhaps that is correct.

Would be interesting to know for sure. As mentioned, look at the numbers and do a Google search.

it's a surge arrester like this one:

I forgot the exact number but it's on the arrestor.

*I am going into the panel tomorrow. I replaced the outside 30A AC breaker, and now all is working again. I am also going to get the measurements for the AC LED polarity light bulbs.
