Get everybody at the marina to actually shut their A/C units, water heaters, etc. off when they're away and you'll probably be just fine! I bet I can go to any large marina and find at least 20 boats running 3 A/C units each without the owners being present. It's a waste and frankly unwise, I've seen boats sink because of it. There's only so much power to go around. Between that, the marina's designed electrical capacity, and the utilities dropping output intentionally, you're bound to get brownouts. Those aren't good for a lot of circuit boards BTW. This is usually when we see A/C, fridge, charger, etc. boards fail.

I'll need to stick close to you, we have the identical isolation transformer. We have a 2006 Carver 42 Super Sport also with D6-370's so I imagine we have many other similar setups and systems on our boat as you do! You are very knowledgeable, we just bought the boat in the fall of 2023, so still getting to know things.

I've been reading and researching these isolation transformers and also opened the AC panel and have tried to figure out the wiring from the dock to the outlets (including the generator circuit) and everything in between. I have to look inside the AC panel one more time and then I will post what I am hoping to do to solve a problem, that being, we've visited a few clubs on the lake this year (as mentioned, we just bought the boat fall of 2023) and I can't get any power on my panel on some pedestals using the smart Y and 2x30amp to my 50amp inlet via the Glendinning, apparently the 2x30amp "must" be 180 degrees out of phase, otherwise, no power. I'm thinking of tapping into my generator circuit with a single 30amp to run Line 1 on the boat when I'm desperate (no air conditioning) or using a transformer that ensures both 30amps 'seen' by the isolation transformer are 180 degrees out of phase. I will post some pics and thoughts in the next few weeks.

Have been reading on this forum past few days while in Mexico, you have some great ideas, suggestions and thoughts on many aspects, thanks for your input!
