I agree with Viper, of the Carvers that I have owned, the only one that had the fuel transfer pump was the 4207 with the Cat diesels. Funny thing about our current 36 aft cabin, the Genny draws fuel from the starboard tank, not the port. When I fuel up, I just calculate the hours that the genny has run, and add that much more fuel to the starboard fuel tank, never been a problem.

I found that our 36 aft cabin does draw fuel from the port tank, but there are valves built into the fuel lines that would let me run the generator on either tank.

For anyone interested, I did end up running a secondfuel line from the rear aux tank and put in a selector valve. It works awesome and I LOVE IT!

Nice job and a nice addition for those with gassers. I believe all diesel equipped boats came with fuel transfer pumps however those only allow you to select between port and starboard main tanks whereas your setup allows a draw from the aux tank.
