So I think the gauge of cord and length could have an effect on the operation of a compressor. I would think you need a 14 gauge cord.

The bigger problem on a boat is that too small wire size results in overheated wiring, which could lead to fire. Not good on a boat! It is always wise to use the proper size or larger wire, and protect the circuit for the device's load.

Hello I'm Andrew. I have a 3207 Carver with a Norcold DE828 refrigerator. I need a primary and sub power supply (converters). They are located under the unit at the front . I need the two oscillators but will buy the complete power supplies. The model numbers of the supplies that i need are1601 660 000 and 1601 067 000 Used is fine. Or am I stuck buying a new refrigerator? My refrigerator is working fine on battery power but not shore power and I'm hoping to find a replacement power supply. I'd also like to know what to replace it with if you have any suggestions. Thank you

I might have these. Is this the model with the two compressors? Might take me a couple days to dig them out to find the part numbers.
