Small Covered Port on Bridge with two terminals?

You could probably confirm it just by putting a voltmeter on those two terminals inside and then toggling the anchor light switch and see the results on the meter.

Have you looked at some boats for sale just like yours or google pics......sure does look like where you would expect the anchor/running light post to be.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

thanks all. Still haven't been able to put a meter on it but I found from another pic that it is a Perko Plug-In Type Base.

Anchor lights are typically installed at the highest point on the boat so as to have 360 viewable light.

If on the bow, it's probably a socket for a remote search light. Our 370 has a removable remote search light on the Fly Hood with a similar looking socket.

It is definitely the corroded remnants of an anchor light plug.
