Max - worth a shot. He does advertise a willingness to travel on his website. Probably a timing issue and current work commitments more than anything. We are still in an above average temperature weather pattern, so that helps. Temp here is going to be 50F today!

Just to close this out, I was able to find a surveyor, and he's going to be ready in Mar when I start getting the boat ready to go.

When I purchased my 530, I flew my mechanic to Florida for the survey. I'm glad I did. He found thousands of dollars' worth of issues. I was able to negotiate and get it all fixed before taking possession. If I were you, I'd make sure I had a diesel mechanic as well as a surveyor.
