Re: Revised Bilge Blower Discussion
Was in my engine room last week and confirmed the starboard side pulls fresh air in and port side blows the air out.

Re: Revised Bilge Blower Discussion
Remember an engine while running will evacuate air from that compartment... here is a rough formula for engine air requirements at inputted different rpm's. For VE just use maybe 82% or .82 in the math. Will be ballpark for this discussion....naturally aspirated.
CFM = (Cubic Inches x RPM x Volumetric Efficiency) / 3456
Example, 454 x 650 x .82 = 241982/ 3456 = 70.02 CFM
Also there will be fresh make up air being drawn in thru the intake louvers, that is why they need to be unobstructed and sized correctly for the engines combustion air requirements.

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Re: Revised Bilge Blower Discussion
Finally, I spoke to a mechanic that worked for a Carver dealership. He said all blowers blow out of the bilge.
His main job was to to assemble the aft cabin tops when the boats arrivrd at the dealer. One interesting thing he told me was the tops of the cabin and supports were
stored in the solon when shipped to the dealer.
