I have seen people use Softscrub. Yes, it does seem to work fairly well.

For all non skid areas I swear by Starbrite version of nonskid cleaner. Whitens/brightens nonskid areas. I use alittle to alot of elbow grease with brushes. Looks like new when finished. Very bright. Supposed to add a protective coating (ptef?) and enhance the nonskid effect when it gets wet. Seems to work well as I only need to do the decks twice a season. Won't remove wax from areas around the nonskid as you clean and rinse. I think its biodegradable? Highly recommend.
