Not one bit.....I believe we like boats of all kinds, I know for one I sure do......those were good boats ( trawler style ), nice design, a friend had one on the bay for years then transported it all the way to B.C. , then used it there , loved it. Good luck with it, and let us know how the survey goes.......

Make sure you check the exhaust manifolds/exchangers. If they're on their way out, you may be hard pressed to find replacements. Getting harder to find the marine parts for those. Great engines though.

Yep, we all like all boats. You can even stay with us in this forum if you end up with something else. Make sure you go over the entire hull and topside with a moisture meter. Bayliner used coring techniques A LOT! Made the boat lighter and less expensive to build. If VIPER says they are great engines, they are.

Do a search on the Hino's. I believe most were very good engines, but as viper mentioned parts may be hard to come by depending on year and model.
