You guys are fortunate as in the states there are many items available on line. Here in Canada it is sparse at times for specialty products. Tried the last link posted but not deliverable to Canada and even if it was, shipping would most likely be cost prohibitive. By the case on the link I posted it comes to around $20 CDN a bottle.

The official name of that vacuum breaker valve is Tank Saver....couldn't remember before......here is a link so you can see what it looks like.
https://www.dometic.com/en-ca/ca/produc ... er-_-25365
there is no tank saver on either carver405 waste tanks only a 5/8" vent line for each and oem from carver there is no vent line filter.

The Y valve near the pump is the one that could combine your deck fittings. If i'm not mistaken, it just need to be firmly in one position or the other. It cant be anywhere in the middle.

I don't recall you stating whether or not, mine does not have maceration. Do you have a over boad discharge macerator pump? it will be in engine room. If you don't there will be no y valve. The over board discharge thru hull on a 405 will either have a hose or it will capped off. By looking here you will know what you have. The location is aft and port side by the stringer and almost beside the shaft coupling of the port engine. Do you still want pics i offered earlier or have you already located your vents and have moved on?

I also have vacuflush the macerator i mean is a pump that will pump the holding tanks to discharge into the water under the boat. did you check in the engine room where I mentioned to look for the overboard discharge thru hull. ? This will clear up the y valve question. Please check this.
In the meantime if like mine several port side thru hulls below the forward oval window the fwd head holding tank vent is the 2nd one . The aft tank vent outlet is in the group of 2 thru hulls farther aft also port side about where the end of the salon window is. Its the 2nd one also. The other is the drain for the sundeck sink.
