In 2121 we do not boat on the water we hover over it. Talk about a smooth ride.

Better hovering over the water than under unless you have a submarine.

by then we'll float over earth's magnetism.

may not be a very smooth ride though, as I remember the magentic fields differ all over the place. Good for navigation and the earth sticking together.
