A friend of mine used to keep his sailboat (moment of silence!!) at a marina on Lake Ontario that was run sort of like a cooperative. The board was made up of owners at the marina. I am sure that it was not without problems but everyone looked after their own stuff whether it be DIY or sub contract. The marina hired for general stuff around the marina and they worked together for things like haul out launch. According to him it worked quite well.
So another week has gone by and we are at 7 weeks and counting to golf/boating, its going fast......the snow pack around here is taking a hit and I believe on Tues this week I may be able to get in the boat...time for a little P.M......going to pull both throttle bodies and bring home( warm) to check and get back to factory settings........... .....
For those of you that are familiar with Georgian Bay, here is something that is interesting...these two pics show the change in ice over 4 days recently. You can also see the snow cover change over that time as well.........

Well it was 50 degrees in Minnesota on Saturday and now another snowstorm when is it going to end! Spring flooding for sure this year here, it’s been a snowy winter. Looking like the end of April for splash.

Any of our northern friends or US friends on Lake Ontario? Do you think they will get the water level right this season? Plan 2014 sure is raising hell on the southern & eastern shores of the lake, not to mention the St. Lawrence Seaway and A-Bay area's with high water levels!

Went by the marina the other day to check the boat and there is NO ICE in the marina. I think it was two years ago that there was still ice till the end of APRIL. Might be able to launch early this year!
