I reached out to a company in Connecticut who manufactures custom winter frames and covers. They sent over these proposed images which I think would be interesting for you folks to view. The proposed cost is $8,500.00 USD. Personally, I cannot justify the 7 year ROI, not to mention the fact that I like having the entire arch covered through the winter.

The one Genco Marine in Port Credit, Ontario custom makes is around $3K and good for 10+ years is a better but I would think, back on page 2 of the post. You make your own frame work and they custom the cover to that. You figure out how to lower that radar unit and I pretty sure you'll be fine going any where on the Erie Canal.

One thing is obvious to me, if you are in a snow area there is not nearly enough slope up top...the center ridge would need to be at least as high as the radar. Looks very much like the ones they made for sail boats for years, whats the frame made out of ?

This is the same boat as yours with the Genco.
