wikipedia updated "Carver Yachts permanently closes July 30, 2021." - Just yesterday I became entralled with the Carver C43. I was doing an online search for a 42 foot boat that would fit the creitria for America's Great Loop. I switched to images and the Carver 43 Coupe caught my eye. Not knowing what was going on with Carver I spent hours reading reviews and viewing videos on the boat. I emailed a local broker asking if they still made the C43. No answer. Same when I contacted Carver direct. Thats when I discovered the company had been sold to Crusiers Yachts.

My message to them and the responses - Good morning. Just yesterday I started a search for the perfect boat for my venture into becoming a Lopper. Unfortunately the boat I spent hours researching was the Carver C43. I couldn't get a response from a Carver dealer so this morning I started calling Pulaski using the phone number listed at the Carver website. Nothing. Further searching I find a news story the company closed at the end of July and your company owns the assets. Can you give me any hope that that design(c43) might be built in the future? Thanks for your time.

"Unfortunately this model will no longer be built as the tooling to make it was recycled almost two years ago now. This model was built with a limited number of boats as I believe there was only about 16 of them in total that were built and a few of those found their way to Australia so I think there were only about 12-13 of them that stayed in North America (US and Canada). The C43 Carver Coupe was very similar to the Carver C40 Bridge boat. The interior was nearly the same and most of the internal systems were also the same. The C40 Bridge boat was more popular than the C43 Coupe and ultimately the C43 Coupe was no longer offered after the 2019 model year.

At this point there are not any Carvers being made. As for the future, I am not sure for certain, but it is not looking like any of them will be made any more.

You may want to look at the 42 and the 46 Cruisers Cantius models as they would be comparable to the amenities of the C43 Carver Coupe."

The wayback machine has many parts of the site. Sadly, I don't think the PDF's everyone wants to download are available.

If you want to browse through the years and learn non pdf info about the company the site history can be found here. Click on the year and then the center of the circle to see the site.

I could not find a way to download the PDFs

I have those PDF's on the boats, not about the company or its history. I don't think there was much more about that other than the usual marketing business correct blabla.

On this forum a newspaper scan was shared about the founding of the company. But about model details or changes over time, designers, remarkable decisions that changed boat building or such I have not seen yet.
Like most boat builders, it's a construction with many parts of other brands and producers. Not all also producing for their own market (brand) so often there's no details on those parts.
The big stuff we know now where to find, engines, drives, electrics. But design specific items, materials used, construction details.... nope.

My idea was to put them all as products in a webshop (woocommerce in wordpress) so it's easier to search for a specific type and download it (for free, I just use the shop as database manager, as I can't design and build a complete searchable database and front end)
