Thanks bud. I got it out! I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. The hose is dated 1995.

WOW! Glad you found this! Your rough running issues may have become a serious issue of another nature real fast. May I suggest checking the entire fuel supply lines. Good Luck!

Are you able to purchase the pre-manufactured line like that or are you having to have one made?

I have similar crimped lines on my boat and was going to replace the fuel lines. Where would one go to get them crimped like this? It might be just esthetic, but I like these crimps better than the ring crimps and much better than putting on hose clamps.

Is there a name for these crimps?

I ordered the crusader originals. But because of the holiday probably won't ship until tomorrow. I went to west marine and bought hose and made a temporary replacement. So I'm running again while the factory stuff comes in. I bought two because I'm going to replace both. That fitting ripped right off easily. I've had crimps like that done at a shop before. They were weak and leaked. Try to spin the hose at the crimp connector. It shouldn't spin. If it spins it'll probably leak.

Going to take it out for a test run shortly.

I took it out for a run yesterday and its not resolved. Its running worse. The engine stalled several times right as I was backing it into the slip. And it was windy so that was not fun. Ran my swim platform into a post and cracked the gel coat. Another new problem thats way low in the list!

I have a fuel pump ordered along with the factory hoses. My current fuel pump looks like a cheap knock off. Today I will be checking the anti siphon and the breather tube. And I might go hunt for a fuel pressure guage today just to see what it looks like.

Between the wind and white caps its not fun going on test runs with a failed engine.

Thanks,

Steven
