Bryon857, the floor space just in front of the dinette table, did you see anything that might explain why the floor moves a little?

This may be what you are asking. There is a 3/4 inch plywood across the middle of the boat. It has some aluminum crossmembers for support. Mine has a little give also, added the 1/2 engineered wood on top of it, seems to help some.

Still working, out of flooring trying to order some more. Use 3 boxes about a 100 sq ft., not a lot of waste.

Just got done having mine done was vynl planking that looks like wood. Had to be glued down.

Looks great and gives us an idea of what is in store! Recently purchased a 2002 396 and going to use the snap on laminate flooring from Lowes. Still exploring details...what are your plans for the stairs?
