Has anyone replaced the 'standard' ladder with some type of spiral staircase? IMHO the ladder is not as safe and easy to use as a spiral staircase.
Goes for any other model with a ladder vice staircase.

Call Carver and ask if they still have them for your model. I know they don't have them for my 3807 
so I've been trying to find someone to custom build it out of stainless steel or powder coated aluminum. Apparently Carver used to build those themselves.

There was a thread here a few years ago where a member fabricated his own. There was a boat in my old marina where the owner did the same and it looked very well done. I think the previous thread was on a Carver 35 MY, 93 vintage. Same previous ladder design to the 430 though.
