Father and I picked up an '86 Monterey from his friend who just passed. The port prop is bent bad (thanks to me allowing dad to operate it first). Could use some help finding a replacement since I'm very green with anything bigger that a 20' Spectrum. It's an 18" x 20 DQ. Looking for brass or aluminum. Engines are Mercruiser 350, 5.0L. 270 HP.
I'd definitely try a good prop shop to see if they can bring it back. It's amazing what some of them can do. Another thing you might consider is looking for a pair of matching props that are CLOSE to those specs then use the old ones as spares (if the one can be reconditioned but not brought back "all the way").
