1989 Carver 23 Montego Mid Cabin bridge clearance



Looking for the bridge clearance on a 1989 Carver 23 Montego Mid Cabin I am looking to buy.

I only have this profile photo. My guess is A is about 10', B is about 8'.

If someone has a late 80's or early 90's Montego 23 and can confirm the fixed B measurement, that would be good enough.

Hi I have a 1981 3007 had it about 6 months I am located in bremerton wa. I am glad to have found this forum and all its vast knowledge.

I was about to post on the above topic but I accidently hit the wrong key.

I have read a lot of articles regarding water reversion and ingestion or condesation in the risers/elbows and it seems there is no cure if you you have this problem. I own a Carver 396 Aft cabin that iIthink has this problem.

The engines are 2008 with 535 hours and 1 cylinder in not firing. The ECM did not show an error codes.

The mechanic was able to determine #7 cylinder was not firng. I guess the next step is a compresio ...

Hi all, we recently purchased a new to us 1987 4207 and we're getting close to DONE on this ol', beautiful girl!

BTW, when we're "done" (which you all know never really happens...we'll post our progress album, it's extensive!)



Anyway, we're upgrading all of our gauges to the Faria Newport SS series.



And, when I am looking at the temp gauge, I see there's two (2) options to choose from

1) Water temp

2) Cylinder head temp



Which one am I buying??

Good day to all! Spring is coming, slowly I guess. We removed all the Seadeck on our vessel and were going to replace it all together, because, you can never get all the glue off and it looks like crap that way. So, I've looking for an alterative to put down instead of Seadeck. At the Toronto boat show, We met the owner of Nuteak. Nice product and looks like we are going to go with this. Hi all has anyone added vents to the side of the hull to get fresh air into where the engines are. I have a 1999 530 and would like to get fresh air into the area as this room is very whilst underway. I know there are blower fans on the transom but would like to install something more direct.. I have found a location just above the water tanks
I have seen some of the later models do have vents on the sides.. if anyone has a set or knows of something similar..

As I was going through my to do list for the up coming boating season, I realized I never made this thread.

So here it is. Don't know if you could call this a real restoration, but I bought this 1981 Santa Cruz from a friends dad in 2021. She was rough. Our best guess is that it had been sitting for 10-15 years.



Bought it real late winter, so it had to sit for another month or so.

Pulled it out gave it a quick wash to see what we were working with.
