I have a 1987 Montego 2757 with twin Mercruiser 470s with Alpha One outdrives. I'm not going to do oil changes this year because the boat was barely used. The engines have closed cooling systems. I plan to drain the heat exchangers, but I don't know what else needs to be drained. Are there water drains in the outdrives or any other place?

Hi all i have been very busy over the winter months on my 1999 530 after taking the boat out of the water we noticed the boat had a lot of osmosis so this begun an epic project... all cancer was ground out then fibreglassed and the re Antifouled at this time i decided to add a stern thruster and also new underwater lights . i stumbled across a high low platform a guy had remover from his 540 Sea Ray so i had it modified to fit the shape of the Carver hull and had to fabricate new mounting boxes ...

I am about to close on a 2001 Carver 466 aft cabin. Big step up for me now that the kids are gone - last boat was a 1993 210 horizon and before that an 1988 Chris Craft Scorpion. Late in the season here so probably 1 cruise to get it home to RI and then on blocks for the winter. Looking forward to cruising the NE shores with the wife, family and friends. I have been tripping the salon breaker and main on Breaker bank 1. I bought a new 15amp breaker to replace but it appears the main breaker and next 2 15amp breakers are pined together. Is this normal? If so where can I get the 3 breakers to replace?

I made it through Ian almost unscathed!! I do need to replace the panels that go around the back deck. Anyone done this before and have suggestions on what to use? Any recommendations in the Punta Gorda area? Seems like an easy enough job just need a place to make them then I will install. Starboard side is in good enough shape to be used as a template and measures the same as the port side. The other panels are a rectangle and square....

Pleased to be a noob in the carver community. Purchased an older 430 a few days ago and am ready for yet another refit. I've found it difficult to locate information about the 430's produced between 1991 and 1997. So Im hoping to get fast tracked by the forum to the locations and web sites that supply Carver specific components. Also offer my knowledge of boat systems. Look forward to meeting y'all on the water!

My remote spot light moves up down port side but will not move to starboard. Thier is no grinding noise when trying. Just seems to stop in the center and won't turn starboard.
I don't think it's the switch or else it wouldn't move every other direction. What's your thoughts?

For anyone who has a carver that is powered by Perkins T6.354’s with electric stop solenoids. Would you please share an image of what the linkage from the stop solenoid to the lever it pulls to stop the engine looks like. The previous owner has used a piece of twisted stainless tie wire, which works, but I don’t think it’s how Perkins intended it to be set up. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I recently purchased a 2000 Mariner 350. It does not have a gps or navigation but it does have a SIMRAD Robertson AP20 that seems to work. What gps/navigation can I get that would be compatible with it?
