Post Replacement Marine Air


I am getting ready to replace the salon 16k A/C it works good just compressor getting loud. I know the units have a control box for pump and Tstat. However I have TWO and a ton of wires. Anyone else incur this mess and how did you replace with the newer 1 box units?

Post Grease Fitting 360 Trojan Express


I have a 360 Trojan Express and want to grease my steering fittings in the stern area. The fitting is a bit larger than a regular grease fitting. Does anyone know the correct size and where one could find that fitting? Thanks for any help provided. Steve

Post 1994 390CPMY water heater replacement


Been getting water in the forward and center bilge, and looks everywhere except the right place. Had a decent amount in the bilge wheel we were gone 1.5 hours. Touched the water and it was HOT. Saw a wet pot in front of the heater, so the original heater has given up the ghost. Anyone every replace one? Has a rear heat exchanger connection, and am looking for same. Doesn’t look too bad. OF course, we were planning a weekend away and a week for labor day. Hope to be able to replace next saturday, ...

Post 1979 Carver info


I have a 1979 Carver that was my fathers. I am restoring her (she is in great shape) to her glory days. I can not find any information, website, archives or specs on line. Can some one point me in the correct direction. I am also wanting to acquire a new owners manual for the boat... Any help out there.

Post This is UNBELIEVABLE!


Okay, just started going through our electrical system yesterday to better understand how things are wired up and doing some general cleaning/maintenance in the process. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND!!

Post Rudder R&R for transport


Hello everyone. I'm a new Carver owner. I just purchased a 2002 410 Sport Sedan. The transport to my location requires the rudders and props to be removed. I can't get back up to the start location to disassemble the rudders myself, so I'm having the yard do it for me. I will be reinstalling the rudders with the help of some others at the dock(also carver owners).



However, none of us have any experience with Tides bearings/seals for the rudders. Is there anything special about reinstallin ...
