I had mentioned that my forward vacu flush unit was cycling on and off too frequently. The aft unit is perfect and holds vacuum for weeks at a time when away from the boat. I saw a pin hole in a hose, and also noticed that the duck bill adaptors ere missing, only allowing for one duck bill on each side. I bought the rebuild kit, new bellows, duck bills, adaptors and new nipples and o rings. I installed it all today along with the hose from the pump to the Y valve. Since I was adding the adaptor ...

It's official , we are now the proud owners of a 3607 aft cabin !! We are going to winter in indoor storage and then see about transporting it from Gimli Manitoba to Kenora Ontario. ( Canada for those more southern folks )

Anyone have experiance moving one of these ? I am hearing 14 ft loaded as "Bridge Limit" but I am thinking the upper helm at least has to come off to make that number.

One of my fuel tank vent caps is missing on my 2000 356 Aft deck. Any ideas on where to buy one? Do I need to replace. Will I need to replace the vent? I see vent assemblies on line, but no cap. Thanks

Hello all, first time joining a boating forum and new to boat ownership. Glad to be aboard here...had a couple little aluminum boats, first time with a real cruiser. Just bought a 2003 366, with 550 hours on the engines, overall well-maintained. When the boat has shore power both engines fire right up. However, when out on the lake, if you turn the engines off to relax for a while, the port engine won't start unless you turn on the generator. Previous owner has replaced the alternator and battery within the past year.

Ideas?

I've been searching for a cabin cruiser with at least 2 berths/bedrooms that have their own doors so when I have guests we can have some privacy and can go to the bathroom at night without feeling embarrassed. Why don't more boats have doors? Is it a safety thing? Can you add doors and would it be legal?

Ok, I have not messed with the shore power setup since I bought my boat but am now looking at it and finding myself asking "WHY?" and "I HAVE to be able to simplify this somehow"

(Dock side) Single 50A outlet -->

(Y Adapter) 50A to (2) 30A lines -->

(Each line then has a Line Adapter at the end) 30A to 50A --> Into boat



Seems like all 396's of my year have twin 50A lines into the boat.
