Post Kohler 6.5 output issue

Hi all. I have a 93 Kohler 6.5 gas generator that starts and runs great. Issue is not getting house power. I checked with a volt meter power to it's main breaker 123V on both sides for the dual breaker switch. At the command center, however getting 63V on all 4 posts of the on/off switch/circuit breaker. No power at all after switch is on. The command center switches are made by Carling Technologies and the switch in question has a label with what I am assuming a part number DG2-B0-34-650-131-C. ...

Post 2001 444 Issues

Folks...

Just bought this boat.. noticed it slopes about 1.5-degrees forward. Is that normal for this model?

Also, Can anybody tell me the location of the inline waste tank vent filters for a 2001 model 444? My friend has a 2003 model, but my filters aren't in the same location as his -- can't find them anywhere and my wife is throwing fits if I don't get them replaced.

Thanks.

Post Help with proper battery connections

Last yr I purchased a 2002 Mariner 350 that has 4 batteries in it. When the boat arrived and looking in the engine room a worker at the dry dock noticed the batteries are all linked together and mentioned he had never seen this. I have been unable to separate the batteries using the aft cabin battery switch ( 1, both, 2 ) therefore my batteries are going dead while out for 2-3 days. They are wired in parallel series and I would like to hook them up correctly, individually.

If anyone can send me ...

Post Desperately Wanted: Windscreen Bracket

I just got a 1993 Carver 300 Sedan which I had transported about 200 miles, and the wind blew off part of the smoked glass windscreen that surrounds the flying bridge. I can repair it, but I am now missing one of the stainless steel brackets that holds the forward part of the windscreen in place. See photo. Please help.

Post Kohler 7.3 Cooling issue

Ok, so I have now owned my 350 mariner for 2 years... last year was my first full season on the Great Lakes and LOVE the boat. Last season I never got to use my Gen as the ball valve on the through hull that was busted in the OFF position. Bummer!! But.. over the winter I did:

* New spark plugs

* New Impeller

* New Impeller coupling

* Oil Filter (did not change oil as I could not warm up the engine, figured I'd do that this year.)

* New Ball Valve, of course.

This year, fired it up and she purred l ...

Post 396MY - Starboard engine shuts down - no reason

Hi. My name is Tom. I have a 396MY with Merc 8.1 gas engines. I have been dealing with an issue of stalling out on the starboard engine. I will give you the details. The engines starboard and port, after having be warmed up, once under load and approximately 1/2 hour to an hour underway, the starboard engine stalls out.

After cooling down for approximately 20 to 30 minutes, the engine will be able to be restarted. This has happened on multiple occasions. The boat cannot be trusted.

Post 1989 3807 fuel tank replacement

I have a 1989 Aft Cabin 3807 and the Port Fuel tank is leaking and sitting in fuel ( gas) just noticed the smell about 2 days ago and popped the hatch to see where it was coming from - Looks like the only way to replace the fuel tank is to o the the hull or pull the motor ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated! and where would I get that done?
