On the Diesel D6-370. When changing the spin on fuel filters there is a water sensor on the bottom. Before I start tugging on it, does the clip need to be removed to separate it from the fuel filter. See the attached picture. Thanks for the help

I am looking at changing my throttle set and cables this spring before my 1987 Santego 27' goes in the water. From my research it looks like the Teleflex CH7800 control W/tilt,trim on handle is the best choice for a throttle set. Has anyone here done the replacement themselves? What length of cables would I need to purchase for the replacement. The boat is currently out of the water and I was looking at doing this before I put her back in in mid-may. Thanks

Hi all, My wife and I just bought a Carver 1999 406 aft motor yacht. It has twin 7.4 L Crusader gas engines. We are trying to get some kind of a range of fuel consumption at different rpm levels. Any ideas please. Thanks, John

My tachometer and volt meter is consistently chattering in sync very erratically. any suggestions of a possible culprit ? Thanks for any help!
