Re: 1994 330 Carver Mariner A/C condensation pan over flowing
On the chance that the unit was draining into the sump, I would have taken compressed air and put it through each input of the sump and determined where the air was coming out. If one of them was indeed for the tray, chances are the air would blow out whatever was blocking the line.
I'd be replacing the sump with a newer one that incorporates a float and run that new drain line to it or your next thread will be about a stinky bilge!

cutlass478 wrote:Source of the post I was not able to find a condensation drain. It doesn’t make sense. I’ve owned this boat for 23 years and it just started leaking water on the floor. I worked with a marine technician and he doesn’t understand it either. We are guessing that there is a drain through the bottom of the drain pan and it became clogged. We ended up putting a hole through the platform that A/C is mounted on and installed a 90 in the inboard side of the pan. Now the condensate is draining to the bilge.
Johnnie
some pics from my replacement:
old unit - drain feedthru/connection from old MarineAirrree unit
empty compartment - hole to bilge where drain hose went - the hose just dumped into the bilge - had no connections
new unit installed - can see the hole in the outboard forward section
My '93 Mariner 330 - i assume this was the original setup.
Not going to be easy to get to for sure.
Hope this helps
