What are these ports on the transom?

Postby theorifice » November 11th, 2022, 9:14 am

We hauled out for the first time this week. Woohoo!

Was wondering what these circular ports were on the transom. There are two next to the throughhull for the depth finder wiring and two in between the two drives.

Can't really see but if they have thin rubber flappers they are probably scuppers for the deck drains......have a look below between the engines at the aft of the engine room.
The above is strictly my opinion.

Yeah, the two above the water line are drains for the self bailing system in the cockpit. The bottom two may be either underwater light installations or caps from previous underwater lights. 8-) er

The two bottom ones look like the older versions of Mercruiser's electronic active anti-corrosion system (Mercathode).
