What is it that's in the fuel that you wish to filter out? It has to be pretty small to want to use a 10 micron filter. I don't recall if I've ever used a 10 micron on a gasser. In some diesel applications, yes. Unless it's absolutely necessary, don't forget that the 10 micron unit will clog much quicker but if you're trying to filter out something down to that size then I guess you don't have a choice. Just make sure it's necessary.

There was some brown stuff in there, which I may have posted here video of. That was kept clogging the filter after an hour of crusing at higher speeds, but was fine as long as under 2500 RPM. so I kept replacing it each time and it was good for another hour. Sounds like a lot, but went out 2-3 times, so replaced it twice. But as I had mentioned, 3rd time fuel was cleaned, I think they did it correctly, because the fuel sample did not show any more contaminents. But timing did not work with season over and my time got pretty tight, so I did not get a chance to try. So 25 micron may no longer be an issue, I'll have to wait until Mrch or April.
