:captain: No, but got together with the neighboring boaters this weekend, gave the liver a shock and had fun! We're getting closer to the next season every day! Mike

No boating here. Got 10" of the white stuff Sunday/Monday. Winter has only just begun. Looking on the bright side we are one day closer to spring. :captain:

Sure is a lot different from the same time last year. The snowmobile trails are open about 1.5 months earlier this season. Last year was a green Christmas and so warm that a couple of my buddies were out on the water in their PWCs. We could have left the boats in the water for almost an extra 3 months. Oh well, boat show just around the corner :-)

I think you guys are forgetting that these recent temps and storms are a result of Colorado Lows that are born SOUTH of the boarder!! Sounds like we're in for much more tonight and tomorrow :banghead:

Definitely a white Christmas this year which I like but after that it can all go away please.

No comments necessary from Florida, Texas, California, etc. ;-)

Looking at the bright side. For me here in Michigan the more snowstorms that come out of the west or southwest and dump their snow onto the Great Lakes Basin the more water we have come spring and summer. Just about 3 years ago we were looking at record low water levels.

We had a very snowy winter 2 winters ago and we had record snowfalls. Suddenly that spring the near record low water levels were approaching record high levels. I look at it this way bring on the snow so we have more water in our Great Lakes come spring.

Looking at it from that perspective I love the snow, at least as a boater. We got 10" last Sunday/Monday with 5" more coming tonight. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
