Looking at a 360 Aft - Thoughts?
Heading out to take a look at a 1988 36 Aft Cabin. Motors and generator have low hours, and it appears to have been very well maintained. Anything in particular we should be looking for/at with this particular model? Thanks!

Re: Looking at a 360 Aft - Thoughts?
I just bought a 36Aft last fall. Very happy with it. If you have it Surveyed that will tell you a lot. The other thing which was most important to me was to have a Leak Down test done. That will tell you the condition of the motors. The Hours gages on my 36 aren't much good and I wouldn't trust them anyway. The leak test will tell you the overall wear of the engines and if one or two cylinders are worn more than the others. No matter what the results, all cylinders should be within 10% of each other. Talk to your local marine mechanic.
