Carver 3697 transmission

Post by zedaffair »

Hi, does anyone know what transmission/V drive assembly is in a 1988 Carver 3697? Can't make it out to the boat to check but need the information. Thanks!

I'm almost certain that you have a Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmission with a Walters V-drive remote V-drive assembly

Thanks, any idea if the counter rotating prop is a function of the V drive or the engine?

On an '88 vintage, I'm pretty sure it's a counter rotating engine.
