V berth hatch replacement

I just purchased 1988 32' carver aft cabin and the hatch over the v berth is leaking and has been calked a few times . I want to replace . Where is the best place to find a new replacement ?

Leaking from where? would take a closer look first and see if it's a gasket issue or is it leaking through the deck? When you say caulked a few times, was the whole unit removed and re-bedded? Just caulking around the outside is not the way to do it In any case, it's probably a Bomar-Pompanette unit. If you take pics and email them, they should be able to help with a replacement. The other option is to contact Carver with your hull number and they'll give you the part number and supplier info.

Pompanette.com. The hatch is a Bomar and is made by Pompanette. You can buy directly from them. There is a serial number on the frame of the hatch, call with that and they can tell you what will replace it
