Changing holding tank in 36 Mariner
Greetings all. Taking possession of '06 Mariner 36 next week. After looking at several different Carver models, we decided on the Mariner. The main thing we didn't like was the 20 gallon holding tank. The newer Mariner models have a 31 gallon tank, so obviously this was an issue or complaint with previous owners. I'm wondering if it's possible to replace the 20 gallon tank with the larger 31? Just trying to reduce the amount of trips I have to make to the busiest marina on the lake. Appreciate suggestions. Thanks!

get the measurements of the 31 and see if it will fit in the area

Hmm. Why didn't I think of that?!? I only took a quick peek under the floor in the holding tank area and it looks pretty tight. I'll get the specs on the 31 and see if it will fit without major modification. Thanks
