Exactly, using screws is not even a thought...unless there is no choice.
In this case, the exhaust outlets use 5 nut\washer\bolts. I'll be looking to increase the washer surface as the current washers are a bit small.
I ordered the outlets and I'll working on it next weekend, I'll get pics.
For this week-end....carpet cleaning, WoooHooo!!

Re: Mariner 350 Exhaust leak
Update - not sure why I haven't had time to work the exhaust outlets.
From our local weather:
15.56 inches of rain have fallen in February and March. That is a record. And, this ought to make you really sad, its only the second time in 120 years there have been more than 15 inches of rain in those two months.
And we have another inch coming later. YES!!!!

I'm wondering if you got this fixed and how it went. Seem to have this going on with our Santego 380 but it's in the water.

Re: Mariner 350 Exhaust leak
Well, with the record "Liquid Sunshine" we've been having and family in town, looks as if I've run out time to replace the exhaust outlets myself, so I'm going to have a "Yacht Mechanic" do it for me...sucks but I need to move it to Pt of Edmonds May 13th.

Re: Mariner 350 Exhaust leak
Again rain delayed but we were able to complete the job today.
pretty simple if your a double-jointed small person.
The exhaust outlet can be cut off, watching the rubber exhaust elbow behind...or get a new one.
Remove the eight clamps holding the exhaust elbow to the exhaust outlet, remove the five nut\bolts and wiggle it out.
Most was brut strength to get it them out.
