Square feet

Postby Nclaneys » October 16th, 2013, 5:32 am

Does anyone know the square footage on a 1985 voyager 2827? I'm going to install air/heat pump and need footage for sizing. Should I go with a water pump or roof model?

I believe that Carver used a 16,000 BTU system in that boat when new. I would use a marine system and not a "roof mounted RV style unit

I would agree with Ramsport47 on the AC question. For comparative purposes, I had a 32 Wellcraft express with a 12,000 btu Reverse air ,by Marine Airs systems. Cooling and heating was more than sufficient. Just one unit mounted under the dinette seat, ducted to the salon and v birth.
