Noise levels
I have decided on a carver 53. I like the idea of having statrooms forward of the engines and generator. The wife likes the master in the aft cabin of carver 504. Does anyone have noise levels when engines and or generator is running.

Re: Noise levels
I have a 506.
With engines turning 2000 RPM, doesn't matter what cabin you are in, you will hear it. With engines at idle, there is very little sound in the cabins.
You can only hear a hum when the genny is on - sometimes you have to make an effort to hear it.
