just purchased Carver 430. Question...where is the breaker for the refrigerator? I do not find one for it on the electrical panel. Thanks

Mine is simply tied into a receptacle circuit, no individual 120v breaker.

Are you talking about the AC side or the DC side? I don't have a 430 but the fridge is just plugged into one of the kitchen AC outlets and the DC side has a dedicated breaker in the panel.

Refrigerators pull a good deal of current when running in DC mode, so you will always have a DC breaker for the frig. Most folks keep the breaker open (off) so they don't run the batteries down by accident. On the other hand, frig current on AC is not very high, so they are often just wired into receptacles. Higher current items (A/C, stove, oven, hot water heater) will have their own breaker.

Never liked the practice of having the refrigerator on the same circuit as other outlets but it seems to be common in some brands' models. It's a production cost saving practice but not the best way to go IMO.
