I am adding an accumulator tank to stop the surge and hot cold cycling, and i was wondering what size plumbing they used and if i need to use seatech fittings or if i can use some from lowes or home depot?
also, has anyone added a watermaker and what is the best place to install it?

I am not sure about the accumulator tank; still I would like to do the same. Let me know if you have reached a solution.
Regarding the watermaker, I do have on installed (pre-fab). The best location, is in front of the generator (towards the bow), and next to the fresh water tank.

I'd be heading to Lowes & Home Depot for the fittings. Shark Bite Baby, it's the only way to plumb! The white plastic Watt's quick attach fitting work real well too!
