Anyone know where to get a set of replacement probes for a decent price?
I plan to pull them out of one of my tanks and hopefully clean them and return to service, but I would like to install a new set and close the hole quickly. Using the repaired set (hopefully) for the second tank leaving me with a spare.

Any help is appreciated.

i dont know what decent price to you but their going to be around $100 dollars. this is not worth having this part sit on the shelf as spare to me but everyones different. if you cant get yours working after cleaning then you might need to buy new. i know this job isnt fun but if you will take the old ones out put a rag or something over the hole the smell wont be so bad. also have a bucket of water ready to put the part in you just took out. addtionally i put a quick disconnect connector on the wires so next time i could just unplug and unscrew the cap to get the sensors out easily. after getting it out clean one sensor at a time and watch the order of parts removed. this wont have to be done very often and once youve done it it wont be that big of a deal next time. thats just my thought.

Completed same Sealand probe change out on a 356 Carver Aft Cabin. Prior owner did not maintain holding tanks. Both probes were corroded. Ordered new probes. Need to adjust floats and tubes to fit tank height ( green, Amber and red). Stern holding tank probe access was under aft stateroom floor. Needed to cut circular hole in floor to access probe cap. Used deck plate to cover hole which is under aft stateroom rug. Since caps were off, used a turbo high pressure wand used in RV holding tanks to flush tank walls and bottom. Pumped out and probes have new clean tank. Have been working fine for two years.

Interesting, I just finished rewiring my TankWatch system.
The wire broke off from the "Full" sensor, so I bought all new set and found a good price on the Tank Watch 4 monitor.

Does anyone know if the external mounted system that sticks to the tank, can be retrofitted to the existing wiring you have,or do you have to change out everything ?

Of course after fixing mine, this was brought to my attention.

If you pull the frig out, plenty of room to rewire.
The frig doesn't weigh much.
The compressor and all is attached to the frig as one piece.
The only connection I noticed was the 18g power wire.
Luckily, there was enough wire to move the frig out of the way while I rewired.

In addition, Its the original DE-561
It was only the 10 screws in its frame holding it in.
Easy removal.

A late update. While pumping out mid September I heard a strange noise and then the flow to the pump out hose about stopped. Looking into the deck fitting I could see a piece of black plastic. Knowing that this could not have went through the head, I figured it was one of the floats. I was able to pull it through the fitting with a long pair of needle nose pliers. Resumed pump out and again a noise and another float. This one didn't wedge and kept falling back down the line. ordered new float assemblies for both tanks. Filled with water, pumped, repeated, repeated. Replaced both float set ups and now we can see the levels.

What company did you order the probes from?
