42 SS DECK REAR DECK DRAINS
Does anyone know why Carver would terminate the drains BELOW the waterline??

Just spitballin here but maybe it is to avoid CO ( exhaust gasses ) coming back into the cockpit thru the drains if they are near the exhausts..that all I can think of... 

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
