Bench seat for Carver 2767 Santego

Hey all

I am looking for the a bench seat for the back deck of my 1987 Carver 2767 Santego. I purchased this boat used last year and it did not come with a bench seat. I have since seen photos where there's a folding bench over the engine hatches.

I have the same boat. I am having one custom made by the same people that rebuilding my helm seating structurally and with new vinyl, captain's chair and bow pads. The technology of materials has advanced so much. I've seen the work this couple has done on other boats, very high quality yet affordable. They were out to measure just a few days ago so I don't have a quote yet but they are always reasonable. I know you are a few states away but maybe it can be done long distance. There use to be a salvage yard in Georgia and Florida, USA. Goggle Boat Salvage Yards you'll find some.

Aft bench seekers - my bench is being made by A husband and wife team. It's in their queue of projects. I don't think it's beyond measuring so far. They are in high demand but worth the wait. I can't recall the rules about posting vendor sources on the forum. I don't think we are supposed to do that but if you shoot me an email at my work address of ldebeer@debeerlaw.com I can give the info. Great idea about the salvage yard! There's so many things I would buy like the dinette table or a new door to the head! I'll try use the PM function to send the info too.

Golfgippsland, could you post pictures of your bench? In particular how it locks on to the boat? That was a bit puzzling with no prototype. Pictures would be great!
