The best you can do is to try and minimize the amount of water that gets in. They are not designed to be waterproof. Have you tried adding a rubber weather strip sweep to the bottom of the door? Again, it won't be waterproof but it may lessen the amount of water getting in. Or, get a covered slip ;-)

Had the same issue with our 4207. Got some teak and built a damn. Maybe 3/4 inches tall and bedded it in with some 5200. Put the dam just inside the wing doors.
No more water on the aft deck carpet.
Thanks

I have much the same with the bridge....anyway a possible solution if you can find this stuff would be a rubber flooring edge, shaped like a half oval, would stick up only about 1/4" x 1" wide, so stick down and if it doesn't work, just peel it up ( no harm )....maybe create a bit of a dam and not be so high as a tripping hazard .Havent found any up here yet but that is what I am going to try when I do...... :beergood:
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

I bought that stuff stuff for the bridge as well. Closed any gap on the canvas-arch join. 4207 has a forward sloping arch and rain would drip in.

I tried it under the door. It simply got all chewed up. The teak is very noticeable. I don't remember anybody stubbng a toe.
Thanks
