Re: boat cover
Shrinkwrap has its advantages and disadvantages. I paid $300 last winter to shrinkwrap my 3007 aft cabin. I am at a new marina this year not sure what it will cost but I plan to shrinkwrap again. It keeps the boat sealed and dry. Cut off the shrinkwrap in the spring and you are pretty much ready to go.
The other option would be inside storage, costs more but the boat is out of the weather for the winter.

Re: boat cover
I'm guessing a canvas cover will run u $3K>$4K. May last 10 years? If you winter in a snow belt area I would suggest u stay with shrink wrap. Snow won't build up on shrink wrap but will on canvas cover.

Re: boat cover
I got a quote for a Genco cover for our Mariner and it was about $3200 CDN. That included plans to build the frame but not the materials.
