1989/1990 Carver 3207 aft cabin Portlights
Does anybody know of a manufacturer / supplier that may still have replacement portlights for a 1989/1990 carver 3207 aftcabin. Some of mine are cracking, and need replacement to secure them. I'm looking for either the inner lens or complete units.

Contact the Carver Parts Department with your hull number and tell them what you're looking for. They'll give you a Carver part number for the portlight. It's likely a Bomar unit. Contact them with the part number and they should be able to help you. You can also email pics to Bomar/Pompanette and they'll probably recognize the unit if it's theirs.

An update, Carver Parts Dept got back to me within the same day (Even with the time difference) with the part numbers of the ports fitted on my boat. They are infact Bomar. I contacted their customer service and again had a reply instantly telling me that the part on my boat is no longer made, however they do have an alternate part, and they gave me a quote.
These are now on order, 3-4weeks to dispatch. Probably will be another 3-4 weeks to get to me due to UK customs.
Very impressed todate with the service at Bomar, been conversing by email with Nell.

It's always hit and miss with hardware for our earlier models so that's good news.

I spotted this on Ebay, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bomar-Pompanette-Gray-Series-Opening-Rectangular-Molded-Portlight/322974216097?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dc050594d5250402ab5eb599614dfa98f%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D361693618061&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%253Aba6e9102-f5ea-11e7-a1f6-74dbd18004b4%257Cparentrq%253Adf7417e81600a99b8382487effecaf0d%257Ciid%253A1
Its a G715 but is in White, but if your not fussed will do the job. I wanted to keep mine matched. By buying 2 I will be able to repair 3 of my port lights.

I would just say excellent service from Bomar, they have dispatched my new port lights ahead of schedule, now in the hands of DHL to get them to the UK.

Re: 1989/1990 Carver 3207 aft cabin Portlights
Another update. We fitted both port lights a few weeks ago. The one in the Galley area was a bit of a squeeze. Had to modify the drip tubes at the bottom of the light, and then set the light in at an angle btm fist and push the top in due to the trim in the galley. The one in the rear cabin was a doddle. took about 30 mins in total.
