Need Advise!
I am about to purchase a Carver Santa Cruz 25'. Before I do, I was wanting to know if parts are readily available for these older boats. I have owned an older runabout and had some problems finding parts. Just wanted to see what I am getting into with this project. If you have any other information on this boat please share. What "hidden problems" should I look for on the boat before purchasing? What problems may come in the future? etc. Thanks for any help and advise!

Can't speak to availability of parts on the boat, but please do get a survey.
But I would say most driveline parts are available, at some cost. Carver-made parts may be a problem because of the age.

Notwithstanding that, a boat of this vintage will have issues - it just comes down to how much/many issues you are prepared/need to deal with vs what you can live with.
