Does anyone know the propeller shaft size on a 2000 356 with 7.4l Crusaders?

Re: 2000 356 propeller shaft size
Thanks fro the quick reply, I was looking up specs on the boat and it states that they should be 1 3/8 . I stopped down to a marina by home and measured the shafts on a 355 and a 356 both with Merc's and they were both 1.5 in. I guess I'll have to wait to check the boat itself, only problem its 5 hours away.

Did you notice the years on the ones you measured??.....reason I ask is that on the Mariners they upped the shaft size there from about 98 or so to the 2001 that I have....not sayin for sure but possible in the 355/356 model as well........

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

You should send an email to Carver... I'm sure they'd know what they spec'd for the different engine combinations.
I looked in a parts manual for a 2002 356 and was surprised I didn't see the shafts or props mentioned anywhere. Thought I'd see a table of the various combinations based on engine options.

The 2 boats I looked at were a 1998 355 and a 2001 356. Both with 1.5 in shafts

Re: 2000 356 propeller shaft size
I need new zincs this year, I better check my shafts before ordering. Everything I have says 1 3/8" but it sounds like that may be incorrect.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
