Oil capacity for Volvo TAMD 74EDC

I can't seem to find the oil capacity for my boat engines, 2006 Carver 46MY
2006 Volvo TAMD74EDC
I was sick in the fall and didn't change the oil, I want to do it this spring, also I have never used automatic oil change system, this boat has one

Dave, if you read full on the sticks, drain one engine and replace the same amount you pull out. That should get you really close, then just add for the filter, run and top off if needed.

Pretty sure this covers yours. 6.2 US gallons.

Sounds like u need 3-5gallon pails of Rottella T 15W40!

3 pails of Rottella T is what I was figuring on, going to change the gen oil as well, looking forward to trying the auto oil changer, should be interesting

You are really going to like the oil changer, makes the change so much easier. I bring a couple of 5g empty jerry jugs with me. Insert the tube end of the oil changer and pump out the oil. Then simply reverse the switch and put the tube into the new oil pail pumping it into the engine.

Thanks, should be a piece of cake, I'm having the marina change the fuel filters and racor filters, one drop of spilled diesel will haunt me all summer

That oil changer is one thing I would dearly like to install.......I am jealous....... :beergood:

Filter change is not that bad. U just need some oil absorbent pads and some HD large easy zip lock bags. Loosen filter, place a zip lock bag over it and spin it off into the bag. There are some great odor removal sprays out there, One called Zero Odor works great.
