Shore Cables 12' Ward Electric 50A 120V Cables

Post by 405driver »

Shore Cables. I sold my 405 so I no longer need these cables. The were custom made by Ward Electric in November of 2016.
They have only been used in our marina, and only for a few months.

To be clear, there are two 12' cables in this set.

If you need a short set of cables to use while "in marina" these worked great for us.

They were $1200 new but my loss will be your gain. If you are interested, make me an offer using this forum or give me a call/text at 615-579-8359.

Thanks,

Just so we understand, You have a 12 foot long custom made, 250/120v shore power cable for sale correct? You mention "they" Do you have more than 1 and if so are they both 12 feet long?

My 405 used two cables. So, yes, I have two 12’ cables.

405 as I have came with dual 50amp 125 cords and shore inlets. My 405 has dual 50ft 50a 125v cords not 125/250. 125 only which is somewhat a rarity. I think you may need to reverify that they are 125/250 and not 125v only. Can you take closeups of the cord ends? That's some crazy amount of money you paid for those short cords.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I think you are correct. I called Wards and the y said that the cables were 50A 125/250. I suppose that means that the cables could carry up to 2240 volts...why anyone would use it for that I have no idea.

I'll modify the listing.

Yep...paid to much but I will say they are first class cables. Our discount price at our local marine dealer is about $650 for similar cables....retail about $800. Good cables ain't cheap...as we say here in Tennessee.

Thanks
